Securing a Student Scholarship

I am Riya Shrestha, an international MBA student at Lincoln University since Fall 2021. I've consistently worked hard to secure the Board of Trustees Scholarship for the past four consecutive terms at Lincoln. Working toward this goal has been a great source of motivation for me. It fuels my drive to study diligently and achieve excellent grades.

Receiving a scholarship is an incredible experience. It's not just about the financial support, it's also a recognition of my hard work and dedication. It's a confirmation that my diligence and academic achievements have been noticed and appreciated. This recognition brings a sense of pride, boosts confidence, and encourages a continuous pursuit of excellence. Moreover, as an international student it helped me reduce some financial burdens and focus more on my studies and future aspirations.

Continuing students with superior academic records, with over 3.5 GPA, are eligible to apply for a Board of Trustees Scholarship. The scholarships are awarded from funds provided by the University. To apply, students must submit these required documents to the Registrar's Office at least one month before the beginning of a semester:

  • Scholarship Application Form (download PDF)

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • Brief essay to the Registrar's Office

Awards are given based on academic excellence and the potential to become an outstanding student at Lincoln University. The Scholarship Committee will select winners and announce them before the semester begins. The amount you receive can be deducted from your school fees.

Overall, this accomplishment brings immense joy, validation, and motivation to strive for greater success, and it's a great opportunity for all eligible students.
