In today's fast-paced world, balancing academics, athletics, and entrepreneurial aspirations might seem like an insurmountable challenge. However, Leah Garcia, a remarkable sophomore at Lincoln University, is proving that with dedication and a strong sense of purpose, anything is possible. Leah is not just your typical student; she is also the CEO of MotivateYou, a social coaching motivational app, and the captain of Lincoln University women's soccer team. Her journey is an inspiring testament to ambition, hard work, and a commitment to making a difference.

A Multi-faceted Talent: Leah Garcia's story is one of determination and ambition. Currently pursuing a major in business administration with a focus on data information, Leah has set her sights on a mission that goes beyond her own achievements. She aims to democratize leadership and motivation, empowering individuals who find themselves stuck in a rut or struggling with mental health challenges. Her app, MotivateYou, is a testament to her commitment to helping others lead fulfilling lives.

Financial Literacy Advocate: Over the summer, Leah took a significant step forward in her mission to empower others by securing an internship with Finnt, a student banking app designed to help students master their finances and achieve financial freedom. Her role at Finnt aligns perfectly with her passion for data information and her desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.

One of Leah's recent accomplishments was hosting a booth on Lincoln University campus aimed at mobilizing as many students as possible, and explaining how Finnt promises to be a game-changer in student finance. She offered students the opportunity to sign up for a free bank account with benefits such as a 5% APY on savings and checking accounts, saving and spending with circle groups, access to an AI banker for personalized financial tips, and daily cashback rewards.

Empowering International Students:

Leah's booth wasn't just about financial perks; it had a deeper purpose. With the support of the Dean of Students and Finnt, Leah aimed to educate students on financial literacy, a skill that is often overlooked in traditional education. What’s more, she sought to provide international students with a valuable service: free wire transfers and the opportunity to build healthy savings habits. Located in the lobby area by Student Services, Leah's booth was not just informative but engaging too. She gave away Finnt swag, offered students the chance to win cash prizes, and provided the opportunity for them to explore how to achieve financial freedom.

Strong Backing and Investment: Leah's journey is backed by an impressive team including Lina Albin, Paula E. Vasco and a successful serial entrepreneur from Y Combinator, Anji Ismail. With a robust financial foundation, they have raised $3.5 million in funding, and have committed to providing students with top-tier financial tools.

In Leah Garcia, we find a shining example of a young, driven individual who is not only excelling in her academic and athletic pursuits, but is also dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of her peers. Through MotivateYou and her work with Finnt she is helping students find motivation, financial freedom and, ultimately, a path to success.
